CHRIST THE KING SCHOOL
Christ the King Catholic School has greatly benefitted from the Holy Family Grant. 29% of our students are on ILPs, but our budget doesn't allow for a resource room teacher. Most of these needs are due to dyslexia and ADHD. This grant has allowed us to hire a resource room teacher who adapts according to students' needs and learning styles. Math and Reading are particular areas of concern. The resource room teacher is able to work with students individually or in small groups, considering their needs and learning styles, as well as 2 students who need one-on-one time due to dyslexia.
We are grateful for the funding we receive through the Holy Family Grant and through the generosity of others we have been better able to serve all our students' needs.
